Etalk:  I know many actors that would love to be in, you know, to be in your position.  Where were you when you learned you got the part?

FA:  I was coming back from London actually, where I had just tested with Jeremy Irons and I was at the airport, I had a message on my cellphone.  I just called my agent, he was like “Yeah, you got..” I was just like literally walking out of the plane.

Etalk:  And your reaction?

FA:  Call my mom (he lols)

FA:  Rodrigo Borgia becomes Pope Alexander VI and it’s set in fifteenth century Rome.  What we kind of witness in the first episode is the race to the papacy and we help him put him there.  It’s about gaining power and keeping power.

Etalk:  Is there any way that you related to that character?  And its darkness?

FA:  A lot of ways actually, it’s a bit scary.

Etalk:  We want to know!

FA:  In that era, how I understood the way Cesare behaved, it’s terrible but yeah.

Etalk:  You have said that Jeremy Irons is very sweet.

FA:  Oh he’s a very sweet guy, very.  A hardworker, but as a human being very generous, and simple.

Etalk:  Why do you think North American audiences will relate to this show?

FA:  I think it’s very reminiscent of what you can see today, like on Wall Street or like, it reminds me a lot of the Bush family story and the way they acquired power.

Etalk:  I’m glad you’re not comparing it to Canadian politics.

FA:  Ah, you know, that’s even more fucked up!
